Staffordshire Police is one of the county’s major and most progressive employers. We serve a population of more than a million, stretching from the Peak District National Park in the north to the West Midlands border in the south.

We employ around 3,500 people – with police officers accounting for over half this figure. We also have more than 200 Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), over 400 volunteer Special Constables with the others being members of police staff.

The force area of more than 1,000 square miles is divided into nine local policing teams which match local authority boundaries.

We aim to be a diverse workforce that represents the communities we serve. We are committed to equality of opportunity and a respect for diversity. Our success in this has been acknowledged nationally through the Stonewall awards as being one of the most gay-friendly employers in the country.

There are many career paths you can follow if you join the Staffordshire Police family. Whether you join as an officer, PCSO or member of police staff there will be opportunities for personal and professional development. Register here (Opens in new window) to receive job alerts by email.
